Peanut’s Story
Peanut is a gorgeous 45lb Treeing Walker Coonhound mix. Unfortunately, she came into the shelter with a broken elbow that was unable to be fixed. She will have her front leg amputated in the coming weeks. Meanwhile, she is relaxing in her foster home and enjoying the company of her foster mom and 2 hound siblings. Peanut continues to gain confidence and come out of her shell . We are starting to see her personality burst forth. She is affectionate, playful, silly, spunky, and she learns quickly. We have been working on leash training and she is doing great. She already goes to the door when she needs to go out. Such a good girl! Peanut is eager to please and is going to make a wonderful companion for some lucky person/family. Peanut will be spayed and fully vaccinated upon adoption.
