Mission

Ellijay Paws in Need is an organization that offers support and care to all of the dogs currently in the custody of Gilmer County Animal Shelter. Through the effort of our compassionate volunteers, the dogs are exercised, socialized, and readied for adoption. We believe each dog deserves the chance at a safe and loving home and to live in a community where people treat dogs with dignity and kindness. This principle guides everything we do.
